Faculty, staff, and students at Wallace Community College 疯客直播 (WCCS) were part of the 鈥淒on鈥檛 Drop It on Alabama Spring Cleanup鈥� event at its campus on Monday.聽
The event was organized with the Alabama Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils, Inc. (Alabama RC&D Councils). The 鈥淒on鈥檛 Drop It on Alabama Spring Cleanup鈥� event was held s at all 24 Alabama Community College System colleges, to raise awareness about the importance of keeping Alabama clean.
鈥淭he 鈥楧on鈥檛 Drop It on Alabama Spring Cleanup鈥� event exemplifies our commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement,鈥� WCCS president Dr. James Mitchell said. 鈥淏y coming together to beautify our campus, we demonstrate our dedication to creating a clean and sustainable environment for current and future generations.鈥�
During the event, the RC&D presented Wallace Community College 疯客直播 with a $50,000 grant to assist their efforts to participate in the cleanup.
