Wallace Community College 疯客直播 and Craig Field Airport and Industrial Authority are teaming up to host Aviation Day on May 2.

According to Craig Airfield Executive Director Jim Corrigan and WCCS President Dr James Mitchell, the goal is to inspire, educate and empower young individuals, encouraging them to pursue exciting careers in the dynamic aviation field.聽

About 600 middle and high school students will get to see aspects of aviation. Students can explore aircraft from ALEA, Black Pilots of America, military, along with drone and fire truck demonstrations.聽Career and STEM booths will also be available.

鈥淎viation Day is designed to educate our youth about the many life-changing career opportunities available in the aviation world,鈥� Corrigan said.聽

We salute both Corrigan and Mitchell for making a strong effort to get the youth involved in aviation.
